Review summary
We had a wonderful time on the Getaway! The staff, the food, the shows and the overall experience was great. We had a really lousy experience on the Carnival Conquest this past April and were little nervous about another cruise but we had so much fun on and off the ship. Tortola was a port in progress so it's hard to say if it will be a good place to visit, St. Thomas was fun, just walking around the area. We book our excursion for the Bahamas for my husband's birthday but Hurricane Joaquin had other plans for us. Only down side was the pushiness to buy products at the spa. Didn't like that at all! Won't go to the spa again.

The Pub and the Noodle Bar were great. If you book specialty restaurants, eat outside. It was a wonderful sunset and a leisurely dinner. What an enjoyable night at LA Cucina!
