Review summary

Our preferred cruise line is NCL and we had a great trip to the Caribbean. However, seems like NCL's value is eroding over time by having customers pay more for services that were included in the cost before. Used to be that the price included all shows and restaurants, but not anymore. Recommend that NCL consider making everything available on the luded in the price (except alcoholic beverages) so that there isn't the perception of "nickel and diming" NCL customers...especially those that are loyal to the brand.

I have to agree on Carnival being like a floating Wal-Mart crowd. I'm platinum on Carnival and have noticed as some very trashy people on board. Men with t shirt, ball caps and flip flops at dinner. Just nasty half toothless dirty people also. Lol

Are used to cruise on NCL but no longer do so. They did not handle the freestyle dining as well as other cruiselines do. Perhaps sometime in the future I'll go back to NCL. Thanks for posting on this website

if they included the high end restaurants though, they'd have to raise the overall price with all the steaks and seafood they'd be giving away. For someone like me that is satisfied with the comp restaurants that means I'd be paying a lot more. I think it makes the most sense for people that want that amenity to pay for it. I agree that entertainment shouldn't be an upcharge though. The illusionarium could easily be included.

I agree with NCL being a step up espy in the food dept.Have been on Carnival and found food not very pleasing I think putting in the speciality restaurants,drinking packages and the price of the spa is a bit much All said and done I still stand by NCL and have for 18 cruises and the 19th one is next July
