Four ports were cancelled and two were inaccessible.
Embarkation

It started out smoothe.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
The restaurant was nice, but the service was extremely slow. The food was much better on better on Carnival, Princess, and Royal Caribbean.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
We did not visit these centers on the ship. We were disappointed about the cancellation of ports and stayed mostly in.
Entertainment
1 out of 5
There was little variety. There was only one stage show or performance a night. It only showed at one time. I'm used to nightly stage shows and comedians, but there was little of either.
Service and Staff

Our room steward was good, but service in the main dining room was slow and many mistakes were made. We were often unsure of what we would receive. Soft boiled eggs were normally cooked through and we asked for bacon and extra bacon extra crispy and received a few pieces of floppy bacon. I ordered moscata one night and was told that they didn't have any and I was brought a dry red wine that was more expensive than the bottle I ordered. I asked what happened, they brought out the original bottle I asked for.
I was told that even though I was booking airfare that I would not have an opportunity to see the city or book in a way that would allow it. Someone I met on the ship explained that they were staying behind to tour Rome and it was a service that was offered.
This port was cancelled and I have gone to port on several other cruises that were much rougher seas. We were refunded our excursions, but not our port fees. There was little to do on the ship and no additional activities were scheduled.
This port was cancelled and I have gone to port on several other cruises that were much rougher seas. We were refunded our excursions, but not our port fees. There was little to do on the ship and no additional activities were scheduled. This was two days in a row. We took hardly any pictures on this day and the food on the ship was less than exceptional.
This was fantastic. I always wanted to go to Egypt and the pyramids. I didn't understand why our guide tried to talk us out of the camel ride and going into the pyramid, which were amazing.
Sorry you did not have a good trip. We went on that trip 2 years ago and missed 2 ports. Unfortunately, when you cruise, sometimes you miss a port due to weather.
We had a wonderful trip despite the schedule change.
