Had a great time but ship was delay a day due to weather so we lost 2 ports of call and had an extra day at sea.

Review summary

I enjoyed my cruise even though we lost ports. I used the spa which was great and they were not pushy about buying their products, just made suggestions. Gym area great. I feel they don't offer as much as they did 10 years ago, entertainment, gem talks, little things that offered freebies. Shore excursions seminars used to give freebies, discount coupons, prizes and they didn't do that on the last 2 cruises I went on. Caganie's was the best dinner but slow.

Embarkation

A zoo when we arrrived due to the cancellation until the next day. We never got a text telling us but others inthe party got it as we arrived (4 hour bus ride to the termial) we were left on our own to figure out where to go. Not much info from them. Once we embarked the next day things were running smoother but the atmosphere was stress!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Cagney's was great and the Brazilian restaurant also. The main dining was good, the buffet better. Service was extremely slow we missed the 9:00 show with a 6:00 reservation.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Only used the pool area and gym. Gym was fine, plenty of equipment and classes offered. Pool was packed as you would assume, hard to get chairs on pool deck they were literally touching each other packed in.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The ships entertainment was really good 2 out of 3 night. Juggler ok, comedian funny but they both were just under 45 min shows.

Children's Programs

The children who came were my neice's and nephew's.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Almost everyone was very helpful and nice, better than last crew, just slow service for dinners.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I felt the ship was designed and laid out fine and clean. I always saw staff cleaning up whenever they saw it needed to be done.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Overall size fine. Little BB like balls in the drawers. grill under desk on the floor, grate for air for the refrigerator? Bed looked like a roller coaster with big dips where you laid. I had requested an egg crate padding which helped but I had to slide down and let my feet hang off to be comfortable. Bobby pin on floor. The only other issue was when entertainment in the evening at the pool was so loud we could hear and feel it in our cabin.

Ship tip

Prebook reservations for the specialty resturants and don't book a rool under the pool area or entertainment areas, you will hear them in the evening.

Ports of call

Castries, St. Lucia

Booked a catamaran excursion through BJs, 7 hours, and it was great!

Bridgetown, Barbados

4 out of 5
Only went to the beach. Beautiful but didn't like the locals trying to sell things.

St. John's, Antigua

4 out of 5
Only went to Turner's Beach. Taxi tried to bring us to another one but we didn't even want to get out of the taxi. Claimed it was better for the small "kids". The beach we went to was beautiful but there was a big drop in the sand when you were a calf deep. Way too many locals trying to sell things non-stop - very irrating.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

5 out of 5
Went to Megan's Bay Beach for 1 hour. You will see why it is 1 of the most 10 beautiful beaches. had to pay $5 a persons but no soliciting allowed so worth it.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
We were delay docking. We were lined up because we did carry off and we stood for 50 minutes before they were able to start disembarkment. Not their fault.
