the food was mediocre. the french restaurant was very good but the Italian restaurant and Japanese were just ok

Onboard Activities

Bingo was fun. The pool and pool deck including the deck above pool deck were overcrowded. The ship in general was overcrowded. Too many people were booked for this cruise. The massages were very good however after the couples massage the sales pitch completely stressed myself and my boyfriend out. We weren't even asked to buy products we were handed products and "told" this is what you need to bring home and continue with which we thought was extremely rude. The comedy was very funny, the circdesoleil was very good, the magician wasn't very impressive. Other than the shows this was the most boring cruise I have ever been on. Not much going on. Also, at the last minute we were told we were skipping St Thomas. We were told by many that St. Thomas has been skipped many times by the Gem including the last cruise.
