Review summary

The ship was recently refurbished and lovely. Food upgraded and excellent. Service always outstanding. Our 7th trip on the Gem. Didn't realize the size problem from the deck plan and suffered the consequences. We are both six footers but had no issues before. (See below.)

Other than that, it was a great trip, as usual.

Have done 7 trips on this ship and been perfectly happy all over the ship until this cabin. It was narrower than the others, the table under the tv wouldn't fit and was pushed under the vanity on the other side. The toilet was placed on an angle and if you were over five feet tall, there was no room for your knees so you had to sit sideways. Very uncomfortable.
