Review summary

My family and I had a wonderful time on this cruise! The staff was very friendly, ship was kept very clean, and there was a ton of things to do! Getting off and on the ship was a very fast and easy process. The only downfall to this cruise was we had to many days at sea. We would definitely cruise with Norwegian again, but never take another cruise with so many days at sea.

Cabin was always clean. The environmental staff were always friendly. However, the mattress was extremely uncomfortable.

Ship tip

We dined at two specialty restaurants while we were on board. The food was good, but it lacked the "wow" factor that we were expecting. While we had the promo package for the specialty dining and only left money for the tip, I would not recommend anyone pay extra they should stick to main dining.

Norwegian needs to add a better variety of shore excursions! We toured 2 of the Spanish forts while we were there. $5 entry fee. They will give you a ticket that is also valid at the other forts so you do not have to pay the entry fee twice. We also took a taxi to a beach close to the airport. It was a nice beach with a bar/restaurant across the street. Prices for drinks were cheap. Food was expensive. Taxi driver offered to pick us back up at a designated time of our choosing. He was very friendly and was there on time. When we got back we also ate at a restaurant in port. The food was amazing but very expensive!!

We always go to Magen's Bay. It is a beautiful beach to visit. You can book through the ship but we just took a taxi for $8/per person with a $5/per person entry fee onto the beach. There is a bar/restaurant as well as public bathrooms.

Be sure to check out Maho Beach! It is an excellent beach to go to. Do not need to book through the ship we took a taxi for $9/per person. Free Admission onto the beach. There is chair rentals available and a bar/restaurant/gift shop/ public bathrooms available.

We did the Virgin Gorda Baths Tour. This was awesome! Totally worth the $85/ per person. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO BE PHYSICALLY ACTIVE. It is a self guided tour on a lot of uneven surfaces. Would recommend water shoes or go shoe-less.
