Review summary

The entertainment shows were excelent. We loved the night time entertainment, especially the philoppino group.

The walk off was poorly organized and run. You need todo a better job organizing the large number of passengers walking off the ship.

You got off as we were boarding. Debarkation in NY is always a mess because people who don't need to be in the Atrium start gathering at 5:00 am.   At one time you could stay in your cabin til around 10:00, now, out by 8:00.  The earliest and first to get off are the ones who carry their own luggage.  This has become popular as most of the people live in or near NY.   The other thing that makes it tough, is now, you can no longer be picked up at the pier. You must go across the street by the taxi stand.  I think you came in late as we were told not to arrive til 1:00, which meant boarding was delayed.  Embarkation usually runs smoother than Debarkation, since by then, everyone just wants to get home.

I guess I'm spoiled living only one hour away from the NYC port.  We sleep in on the last day, have a nice breakfast, and are usually some of the last passengers off the ship.  We never have a problem disembarking. It makes it a lot easier finding your bags too.  They are the only ones there.

I always look forward to the ship entertainment, myself.

" The walk off was poorly organized and run. You need todo a better job organizing the large number of passengers walking off the ship.". The debarking of the ship is mainly controlled by Customs as well as port agents and on disembarkation day, there are usually very few agents to handle all of the passengers in a timely manner. Also, saying "you need to" is a statement that should be directed to NCL which this site is NOT and will most likely never be read by anyone at NCL.
