Review summary

We had high expectations having never cruised on the Norwegian Cruise Line. We were very happy with the entertainment and food, but disappointed with the room accommodations. The rooms were VERY small and exacerbated by having a couch that took up all of the excess space. The bathroom was also small with very little counter space/shelving. The shower was good. The toilet area was very small for anyone over six feet tall. (No room for your knees). The tours that we took were all interesting and enjoyable.

Ship tip

The chairs throughout the ship were very uncomfortable. The chairs in the Stardust Lounge were extremely bad. They seemed to tilt forward which felt like you were going roll out of the chair. They were also hard on the backside after about 15 minutes.

The reversing falls were amazing. I was so glad that we visited the area twice so that you could actually see that the water was flowing in a different direction.

We went to the Doris Duke mansion which was incredible. Our guide didn't pace himself well however, so we were 20 minutes late for our bus and we didn't get to look at the grounds. The other group in the bus had to wait and weren't very happy with the situation.
