Review summary

My luggage ended up on another cruise line! The cruise ship left NY on 9/17 and I did not receive my luggage until 9/21. I wore dirty clothing for three days until I was able to buy clothing in the first port. I wasted time and spent money I didnt have to spend purchasing clothing and toiletries on 9/19 until my luggage arrived on 9/21. I am disappointed and confused about how this could happen.

statistics show that cruises greater than 10 days in length have a significant increase in the chance of luggage being missing or misrouted due to the added activity on the dock bringing on more provisions.

This happened to me once as well. A seven day cruise. Our luggage went to the Honduras. Got luggage back about a month after cruise. I ordered room service for meals everyday. I think they gave us $100 to purchase necessities on ship but that was all.

ouch..... I'm stunned NCL made you wear dirty clothes for almost 4 days without offering laundry service to you and a credit in the clothing boutique. - What was the response from Guest Services on board? - What was Miami's response? - What did your trip insurance company say? - What did the NY Port Authority say (they are the ones who actually take your luggage, place it on the proper cruise ship skid, and transfer it to the ship - NCL doesn't touch your luggage until it's on board)? Lots of places to pursue your troubles......
