The ship was huge. We felt that it was too many people even though the restaurants and entertainment venues had no wait lines. The ship was able to accomodate the number of people, but my husband and I weren't.

We had a brilliant week, staff were very helpful and very friendly.

Fun week away with lots of action and lots of highs. Few lows but, as I always say it’s what you make it!

Our first time in Haven which, goes without doubt, offers such a heightened experience. The itinerary was beautiful, particularly the Maine stops and the history of Halifax. We will definitely visit some of these places again (....probably on a cruise!)

Love Norwegian but their cost cutting is far too prevalent now, the service and experience are definitely getting diluted. Overall still a good holiday but compared to our previous trips (6) standards have slipped. Fewer wait staff made meals take longer and service fall, getting a drink was tough as fewer waiters and things like room service not turning up, no towels etc become apparent, not a major issue I agree but add in the standard of drinks falling, 'own label brand' vodka gin and whiskey now being served in the bars (we opted for the premium drinks package, but always had to ask for them to be served as staff still tried to give is the cheaper brands). there were less artists so the shows (which were amazing) were all packed Worst of all though was Norwegian accommodated an Irish folk group of 1200 people on our cruise and gave them the bars and venues exclusively meaning venues were often closed or we were even asked to leave some bars on some occasions

Too crowded at end of August….will pick better date next cruise

I've been on 25 cruises, 1st and last Norwegian, the quality was poor at best ,no lobster, prime rib shrimp cocktail or escargot...deserts were dry, seemed day old in my opinion

We had a great cruise and it was a special time for us to enjoy with our grandsons

If we could have gotten our money back, we would have left the ship the second we embarked. Musty, dirty, smoky, nothing to do on the ship, less than average entertainment, app never worked, and they try to nickel and dime you for everything. Sure, the price to book is nice but you end up paying so much in charges and service fees that you’re not told about.

Truly one of the worst cruises I have ever been on, I have been on 18-20 cruises over the last 25 years and have sailed on multiple cruise lines and NCL used to be my favorite.....but COVID and Corporate greed have changed everything about this cruise line. EVERYTHING, and I mean everything was lesser or scaled back. Start with embarkation, you have a time, get to the terminal and at 1130 in the morning all of previous passengers are still standing around waiting for buses to get out of there. After that confusion, still 1 HR to get onboard this ship. And that was the good part of the cruise. OVERcrowded, never could get an elevator on board, Room stewards now only come once a day, well mine didnt even come once a day, had to call to get towels a couple of days. No water pressure and scalding hot water only, could not even rinse mouth from brushing teeth for fear or burns. Reported it once and never responded to at all. No turndown, no animals, no ice, no nothing. Dining rooms served room tempature to cold food EVERY night, I understand you get a bad meal here or there but not on this ship. Everything tasted and seemed like it was made hours before. Buffet as an option??? No way, cold hamburgers and hot dogs and the same dry piece of meat at the carving station for a whole week No Variety at all. As for the bar wait staff.....forgeddddabout it. You have to get your own drinks this whole cruise, they charge me $200 per person bar staff gratuities for the drink package and come to find out I am the bar staff. Where's my $200 back NCL. Now lets address their Fun Island Stirrup Cay. Ok its JULY in the Caribbean and its 90 degress with 80% humidity and Norwegian Cruise Line doesnt even have enough chairs or shade for the passengers on THEIR ship. Absolutely unforgiveable. Disembarkation was just as bad and if you booked your AIR thru them you know you have a problem. Absolutely bottom of the barrel last minute flights, 2 of our traveling party got home at 5am because all they book is the cheap 8pm flights out of Fort Lauderdale so if you have any delays your are going to sleep overnight in the airport. After contacting my rep for NCL they didnt even really apologize let alone offer any compensation or future vouchers or what have you. I am going elsewhere, it has to be better.

Overall we had a wonderful time. We enjoyed our time on the ship as well as each of the ports. The weather was ideal - warm but not too hot. While the Escape is large with a lot of people, it generally did not feel overly crowded. Disembarkation definitely felt crowded, and right after a show the elevators would fill up, but it was easy enough to plan around. The cruise director Jack seemed to be always around and enhanced the experience. There is so much to see and do on this ship - we did not have enough time to do it all.

Both times I've been on the Escape it's been great. The crew is awesome. If they offer day spa passes it is worth the money.

I really enjoyed my first cruise. It was an amazing experience.
