Haven is worth the money on this class of ship. More space, less people. Food and service was perfect. One big perk is never to wait to get on/off the ship. We had seperate elevators during these times. We got to get into theaters and venues before other passengers...always getting the best seats.
Embarkation

Total chaos, unless you are in the Haven...and can find the Haven check- in area. There were no signs, but were directed when we asked the pier staff.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Haven restaurant is very good, always a table, inside or outside. Menu is the same every night, but enough choices. Lunch menu in some aspects is better than dinner. Enjoyed Food Republic for lunch on our sea days, good Asian variety. Boleros Brazillian Steakhouse was a nice experience.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
The daily schedule is full of activities, something for everyone.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The Choir of Man was very entertaining...be ready to be part of the audience participation. Comedy shows were lack luster. Guest entertainers "These Guys Worldwide", and Leah Canali were top notch.
Children's Programs

Service and Staff

Always available and helpful.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Ship was over capacity and always felt crowded, except in the Haven. Large variety of venues, bars, and restaurants to spend time in. Main pool area and decks were too small for the amount of passengers, deck chairs were full by 6am.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Deluxe Owners suite with large balcony was the top room on the ship. Master bedroom and bathroom were stunning. Second bedroom, bed was small and uncomfortable, bathroom was nice. Forward facing large balcony was surprisingly not too windy. Only 2 loungers and a table with 4 chairs seemed lost on the large balcony. Very nice living room space with a table for 6. Even after we asked them to stop bringing food and snacks, the table was always full.
Ship tip
Book the Haven, especially on Breakaway and Breakaway Plus ships. Way too many passengers for the ships space.
Ship tour to Virgin Gorda and the Baths. Strenuous down hill trek to the first beach. Some of the nicest and clearest water we have seen. Hike through the rocks and caves needed agility, and took a long time to reach the second beach, nice beach, but the first was better. Well worth the price.
Ship tour to two local shops for "more crap to pack", then to a beach for a lunch and 2 hours to enjoy the water. Food was good, but we had expected more traditional and local food. Tour overpriced, as usual.
Beautiful resort. Be sure to rent an umbrella, clam shell or cabana. Sun was very intense, and those without cover, suffered. Food was good, drink service slow.
Haven passengers were able to check out first. They had immigration on the ship as you left, not in the terminal....very slow process. Once off the ship it was a long walk to the exit for transportation home.
Larger ships never feel overly crowded to me, but I live in a major city and travel to work in other major cities. Barely supervised children and teens in adult events are much more of an issue.
We did the Haven last cruise, but we won't do it again. It is too much money. I couldn't find a lounge chair on their outdoor sundeck. I agree with a comment they can not over book a cruise ship.
In my opinion, the Haven would be something for a very special occasion or people with too much money. One of these years I will do the haven, but not just any cruise. The expense is not worth it, when I can go on 4 or 5 cruises for that same dollar amount. Also, just for the record, the ship did not sail over capacity, although it may have seemed over crowded, there definitely did not sail with people sleeping in loungers on the pool deck cause all the cabins were booked
