Review summary

Overall it was a great cruise, first time on Norwegian. Was more expensive than the RCL cruises we’ve been on and I don’t think that the pros on NCL were better than the pros on RCL.

The line to get through security was a bit of a wait but it was very quick and smooth after that.

We only ate at the buffet, MDR, and O’Sheehans. Buffet was hit or miss- the Indian food was very flavorful, fruit was fresh, desserts was okay. MDR- the Cesar salad was yummy- I had that almost everyday along with one other appetizer. I don’t recommend ordering an entree from the section that doesn’t change. They don’t give you a real steak knife so it was very difficult to cut steak. I was a little disappointed in the quality of the MDR food. O’Sheehans-was okay. I got wings and spinach artichoke dip, both seemed like they were reheated in a microwave. Not impressed.

Onboard Activities

Pools were super cold, the slides were great, obstacle course was fun, mini golf was also fun. The hot tubs were always crowded.

Good luck securing tickets for any of the shows, constantly always booked up.

Cabin steward was awesome and very personable. All the staff were exceptional.

We had a family balcony, it was your standard room. The only complaint is that the closet is right next to the couch/bed so it was a little difficult to easily access but the space inside was adequate. I wish there would’ve been drawer space.
