Review summary

Overall fantastic time with great drinks, food, entertainment and staff!!!

Embarkation

Long!!!! There had been a 2% GI bug on the cruise prior to ours🤭. They cleaned the ship from top to bottom prior to our boarding, thank goodness, but wish they had been more prepared in communicating this to us! I was pleased they were cleaning BUt could have prepared for seating for some people who had difficulties standing for that long a period of time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Sometimes crowded with slow service. Most of the time the staff was lovely and attentive. Waterslide

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Water slides were SO fun-the wait was short and well organized. Fitness center was great and disinfectant were readily available to Clem the equipment. The pool deck seemed well organized and passengers seemed much more polite about not saving SO many chairs

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Dueling pianos were SO much fun!! The Choir of Man was a FANTASTIC show with great performances and inclusions of the crowd. Wine Lovers The Musical was really good too, just wish there hadn’t been an extra charge for this. The comedians were hilarious especially Chris Bliss. JR was great as The Rocket Man.

Ship Quality

Cleanliness was excessive-and I’m glad it was! The layout of the ship was crowded at times-especially The Atrium, which was were a lot of activities took place. Some people actually were so comfortable there they sprawled out on a couch and slept!!!!! Yuck!

Cabin / Stateroom

Couldn’t find my mini suite # BUT it was SO clean AnD comfortable. The balcony was so nice to have and I actually laid out on it one day when I thought it would be too windy up on the deck

Ship tip

Take the time to research your trip and ports and activities. See it ALL for the best experience!

Ports of call

New York, New York Did not visit port

We live close to NY and go there routinely

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Loved walking around here. Make sure to see the umbrellas mounted in front of the governors mansion. Unfortunately, our stay was cut short due to late leaving from NYC( caused by intense cleaning of ship)

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Beach right off ship was beautiful! Don’t be afraid to walk further down the beach for cheaper prices on chairs and umbrella! Don’t to afraid to barter either.

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

Went on a ship excursion to the Naths. Was great- a little crowded BUT beautiful. They were safety conscious and encouraged us NOT to snorkel there or swim due to rough waters.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Beautiful!! Walked to the 99 steps and awarded with a beautiful view. But the restaurants there were still closed- I think since the hurricane.

Castries, St. Lucia

My favorite port. Just seemed fresh or original. Saw an octopus while snorkeling there!

Bridgetown, Barbados

Took a taxi to Copa Cabana beach. It had beautiful sand and water!! Found out later we could have walked along beach to another site along the same beach, but we were pleased with our helpful driver and his suggestion to buy the beach pass. Getting a taxi there was quite a mess of confusion when we first arrived but turned out great.

Basseterre, St. Kitts

Last port!

LONG!!!! Seemed to walk forever AND then ended up in a sea of suitcases! It was awful. We were with sight impaired travelers- thank goodness once the staff saw our group had white canes, they were more considerate in making us move.
