Review summary

The ship was BEAUTIFUL! Balcony room was great for family of four. Buffet chiefs were not friendly. Waitress staff was not helpful or friendly. They wanted to charge for EVERYTHING if they had to help you. Seating was impossible. Water slides and kids swimming area opened late and closed early. Children's Splash Academy was nice but charged for times they said were free. Port of calls were AWESOME and FUN! Not Worth the money for this cruise. I've cruises 2 other times paid less and it was so much BETTER!

Water slides opened at 10am and shut down at 6pm, that sucked! Kids pool was closed by 5:30pm. The children were upset and had to swim with intoxicated ADULTS!

Amazing! But charged for breakfast lunch and dinner if your children were there during those hours. They also charged if you didn't want to take your children off the boat at different stops. They advertised swimming activities but did NONE with the children.

Service and Staff

Food service staff was horrible. They didn't want to get you drinks so if you asked they gave you HIGH prices and said it was because THEY had to get it for you! One waitress told be $12 for a sprite but $6 if I get it myself! They have away your tables of you didn't have your good in 5 min and was back at your table! That was impossible to do when you have children plus hundreds of people trying to get food also. They did have a waitress who sang to the children and that was AMAZING!

Been on a couple NCL cruises. One was on the Escape Canât say I experienced any of what you mentioned. ð¤. But I am sorry you had a bad time. ð

never heard of charging to help u been on ncl 2 other time and we always had a wonderful experience. crew chefs very friendly and helpful. u get eat u pay for. cruising escape in a week

Don't quit understand charging you to help you! I have sailed with them many times and never experienced that kind of behavior from anyone. But I do tip when someone goes above and beyond their duties to make sure my travel companions and I are content!
