Review summary

Boring cruise while at sea.  Had to fight crowded decks to find a lounge chair. Every show seems to be built as a cliché of real entertainment.  Loud music on pool deck all the time was a constant annoyance.  Crowded pools and Jacuzzi's.  Prices for Spa services are double to triple what they are on shore.  A couple of the premier restaurants were decent, but the bars were sterile and boring.

You're then "nickel and dimed" by the staff repeatedly.  Everything is some upcharge even if you bought the premier meal and drink package.  The excursion options were good but expensive compared to booking them yourself.

All told you should skip the cruise and simply put the money to hang out on St Thomas or St John.  Will cost the same or less and you'll have a far better time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Decent premier restaurant food however the bars were boring and there were multiple nickel and dime upcharges, Gets annoying quickly.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Bored stiff with a mass amount of crowds you have to fight for anything by the pool. Gym absolutely packed and tough to get any sort of work out in. Wanted to jump off the ship a couple times.

OMG, what's the superlative for "cheesy"?! Ugh... It defines cliché.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Will say the staff was friendly, helpful and worked hard. One of the few positives of the trip.

Beautiful, make it over to Jost Van Dyke and the Soggy Dollar. Well worth it. Take a private boat if at all possible.

Nassau, Bahamas

Reminded me of Tijuana, Atlantis is cheesy. Avoid and go to other islands.

I hate listening to loud music by the pool area and often sit as far a s possible away from the speakers as I can.  It is not relaxing to me.  Everyone is different, I know.  I am sure some passengers enjoy the party atmosphere that loud music encourages.  Not me, though.

OK, pay the money for a hotel on St. Thomas or St. Johns THEN add the prices of air, entertainment and food. Then realize you are only visiting ONE island. No comparison!

Don't forget those drink prices in those hotels in their budget.

Maybe cruising isn't for you.

Wow, it appears you chose the wrong date, the wrong ship, the wrong cruise. I'm happy you liked my hometown, Miami. There is another face to Nassau that you never saw. Too bad. I've been to Tijuana--terrible beaches.
