Review summary

Our Cabin with a balcony was small, but adequate.  However, outside of the balcony was a walkway for the workers who every time we were in port, walked by to clean or repair something.  We had no idea that this was the case and was standing on the balcony in my nighty as they wandered by.  When in port we were forced to keep our curtains closed and therefore had no view.

The entertainment on the ship was great, but it was a good thing we knew from last year on the Getaway to book before we went on.

The specialty restaurants that were include with our package were great, but the dinners in the "free" dining rooms were not great.

Free dining rooms food was just okay.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Some times the service in the Taste was very slow and were totally neglected one day for 45 minutes. The Cagney (even though we had the dining package) tried to charge for desert and service there was not up to par. The staff at the Cellar, Eden, Michael and Carol were awesome. The Food Republic that you had to pay ala carte for was great food and service.

Cabin / Stateroom

This cabin has a walkway outside it that is used by the crew whenever in port. No privacy or view because you had to keep curtains closed.

Ship tip

Book all restaurants prior to vacation. Many couples had the fine dining package but could not get reservations in any of the fine dining restaurants. Same for entertainment. Many shows were sold out by the time you got on the ship. Your agent should let you know about this before traveling.

We are on 11. Looking at the diagrams it seems as though it may be deck 9.

We are on deck 10, hoping that's not the case for us

This same thing happened to us on a Carnival ship. I was so disappointed.
