If attending the cirque dinner show. Do not pay for premium seating. Get the regular seating in the balcony. The viewbis so much better

Slurg for a larger cabin if you can. Our balcony cabin was nice but just enough for two.

Try the noodle bar. Fantastic if you are a vegetarian

Don't miss the martini tasting at Shaker's Martini Lounge -- best drink deal on the ship (5 full-size martinis for $15)

When booking a balcony stateroom make sure your particular stateroom has bed closest to balcony vs bathroom. Each room flips opposite direction. This setup makes room feel larger with less waisted space. make sure your travel agent knows this ship. Location is key to a great time or not.

The Epic is a must to experience...

If solo and you want to eat with others, don't let them seat you until they get a group together, otherwise you will be seated and no one will join you. You join a group FIRST. Wait at hostess station and let her do the gathering.

No lines..Freestyle dining...eat anytime. Sushi Bar is excellent. Le Bistro and La Cucina are outstanding. O'Sheean's Irish Pub is open 24 hours. Pizza delivery to staterooms is available any time.

There were no lines at any restaurants. Howl at the Moon dueling pianos are the best anywhere...you just have to keep going back!

Watch out for pick-pocket thieves in Barcelona, Spain. Last summer I was walking down the street near Picasso Museum taking a picture & this tall, thin guy reached his long arm out in front of me & tried to grab my new i-phone out of my hand. I held on tight & screamed! I saved my phone!

If you didn't have a chance to book a show, you can still attend one. Just arrive early to the show and there will be a waiting line for folks to fill in empty seats where people did not show up for the show.

Bring your own soda/water and save some money.

Again, this ship is not we were expected...will not come back to ncl anymore...as you can see since 2009, we cruise with your ship twice a year but not anymore...we were very disappointed.

The waterslides are fun! Just hang out in the hot tubs and watch the line til it gets shorter or wait til it's raining, then there are no lines! :)

The ice bar is not work the $20 cover. It is very small inside.

Be prepared for a lot of walking and at times lots of waiting for elevators or take the stairs. A room midship can help with some of the walking.
