They will nickel and dime you to death. They charge $7:50 for a bottle of water and they don't allowed you to bring any on board. Stay out of the casino, you can't win. Take the drink package but it does not includes water

Eat at Sheehans, its included in your trip. Tip your bartenders, housekeepers, wait staff... a dollar goes a long way.

Pack as little as possible.

Check your bags. they are efficient and timely. bring a carry on for immediate attire and sun lotion needs. Initial drop off process is disastrous and unless you are staying in the haven, you will be in a long line just to get thru ships security process. Everything is smooth once thru security

If you don't like waiting in line, don't go on this ship.

If you use a credit card and it is not in US dollars (Mexico - Pesos) make sure you have them write the US dollar amount on your receipt. All 3 of us got charged more than the amount we negotiated in Cozumel at Daniela.950. You really don't know what you are signing for when it is in Pesos -

If I could do it again, I would go on a newer boat, either the getaway, breakaway, or escape. I'm waiting for the next to come out in 2018 before I cruise again.

Expect a great experience overall. Nothing is perfect, and like anything else, if you look hard enough you can find things to complain about or be unhappy with, but while Epic isn't my favorite ship, her personnel were my favorite crew!

Bring your own pain meds or anti-nausea tablets, better yet wear a patch like I did and bring an multiple plug extension cord because there's only one outlet in the cabin!

This ship is set up for the kids. If you have kids, this is a good ship. If you are a adult this is not the ship for you.
