Room was small and frustrating. Food was mediocre, which was very disappointing. Kids were definitely not made a priority on the ship, in my opinion.

Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Food was just ok, nothing fabulous. Didn't find out about the special kids menus until mid week and the staff acted like it was a huge deal to even bring the kids a menu. Best food we had was at the noodle bar and the specialty restaurant, Teppanyaki.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
pools were very small and not inviting. We participated in an family balloon twisting presentation that my kids did enjoy. Water slides were fun when they were open.
Entertainment
did not feel like waiting in line to do any of the adult only entertainment, like the comedy club and the epic theater was always packed.
Children's Programs
4 out of 5
My kids said they enjoyed the splash academy each time they went but also never looked forward to going. The virtual waiting was inconvenient.

Once again nothing special, very standard.

Cabin / Stateroom
2 out of 5
Very small and cramped for 4 people, 2 adults and 2 children. 2 single beds and 2 pull down bunk beds. Once the pull down beds were down, which they did the first afternoon, there is no way to see the TV or even sit up in the bottom beds and the never put the top beds up so they stayed down the entire week, making the room feel even smaller. There were no fun or entertaining things done with the rooms like fun folded towels or interaction with the kids toys like we have experienced on other cruise lines. Cleanliness was mediocre as well as everything else. The TV was very small and there was minimal to no entertainment for the kids. The TV only had news, one "movie" channel, one "TV shows" channel, and movies for purchase.
Ship tip
Prepare yourself for a mediocre experience on the ship and spend as much time as possible off the ship.
Beautiful port as soon as you get off the ship. We took a taxi ride to Magens Bay which was incredible especially in the morning when it wasn't crowded.
Yep the once a day service in the cabins means bunk beds, sofa beds etc are left made up all the time now, and towel animals are a thing of the past on NCL. Both times I’ve been on the Epic I’ve found the staff outstanding though
Appreciate your feedback. Unfortunately, now that so many cruise lines have gone to once per day service, leaving the “bunk beds” down the whole cruise, has become standard. Sorry this cruise didn’t meet your expectations.
