Review summary

We were a group of 37 people. We enjoyed how the Epic special group services helped us with dining and meeting as a group. It was very much appreciated.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was quick and easy. Port Canaveral was trying a new process at small tables to check in. It worked well but the longer counter seemed simpler.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food and drinks were plentiful and delicious! We loved Cagneys and Tempanyaki also.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We enjoyed the trivia games, Deal or No Deal and the fitness center. The bars were fun to "hang out" in also.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Burn the Floor, The Beatles Show, and various bar music were terrific.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Excellent staff and service everywhere!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The Epic is a great ship. Of course, the bathrooms are not our favorite design, as they are not separate rooms in the staterooms. We prefer the newer ship layouts with more outdoor spaces to eat and enjoy. Everything was clean and well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
We enjoyed the tremendous amount of storage available in the club suite. The cabin size was good and it was cleaned well. We enjoyed having a small refrigerator to use. We were not fond of the tub due to the fact that is was super high and difficult to get in and out of. The bottom got very slippery too. We would have preferred the walk in style shower. We did not like the bathroom tub and sink not being in a separate room from the suite.

Ship tip

We would advise people to plan their specialty dining and ticketed activities ahead of boarding, if possible.
