Review summary

We thoroughly enjoyed our 11-day European cruise. It was so helpful to have overnight stays because we could enjoy a place during the day and evening. All of the ports were nice. For Barcelona, we took a shuttle to the city center and did a nice hop-on-hop-off tour one day. For Naples, we took the train to Pompeii and enjoyed seeing the ruins. We took the train from the port to Rome twice — it was reasonably priced and easy. Once there, we again did the hop on hop off bus. Our stay in Florence Pisa was also nice. We rented a car the first day for approximately 100 euros. The second day we did an excursion with the cruise. The final day we again rented a car and drove through Cannes and down to Monaco and Monte Carlo - this too was an easy drive. Everything was really nice.

Onboard Activities

The gym was large and the spa was nice.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
We were first assigned to room 9095, a Club Balcony Suite on the starboard side with a shower only. When you open the door, their is a closet for the toilet and a tube for the shower. The toilet is next to the sink which is next to the bed. There is no privacy or separation- also, the lack of a real door means you can hear a lot and you can even hear the toilet flush in other rooms.

Cabin / Stateroom

Room 9082 is a Club Balcony Suite with a tub and shower combo. It’s directly across from a Crew Access door— which made it a noisy location because you could easily hear the door slam.

Ship tip

Check and re-check your location, and reserve a room close to what you use — e.g., the gym and spa is in the back of the ship so if you use these places, a nearby cabin would be helpful.
