The ports of call were great spots. The ship did the passengers a great disservice by the way they handled them.
Embarkation
1 out of 5
Embarkation was originally staggered which was a good idea. For some reason, the day before the cruise, they told all passensengers to come at once. It was a mess! People pushing, lots of coughing in tight quarters. It took us 3 hours in this situation.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
We had the drink package and the drinks were clearly watered down. The food in the restaurants was ok. The problem was the food in the specialty restaurants was worse. Not worth the money at all.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
Terrible onboard activities and games. It seemed like much of the staff ere ne and didn’t know what they were doing.
Entertainment
2 out of 5
The only goos entertainment was a Beatles show. The others were embarrassing and unprofessional.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Mist of the staff tried. Like stated before many looked new and it appeared they had no training at all.
Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

The bathroom is bizarre and there is a sofa that faced tight to the closet that was very uncomfortable.
The Epic was my first cruise and the reason I fell in love with cruising! It’s a great itinerary, the staff are amazing on that ship and I don’t mind the cabin layout, even if you hate it it’s only the bathroom it’s not where you spend all your time. I enjoyed the food and entertainment but each to their own. Try and see the positives though!
Great itinerary! I agree the bathroom is a bit odd on the Epic. I think it works great for a tour heavy cruise so spouses can get ready in the morning easier without getting in each others way. So odd can be good.
[Proofread before posting. Some people the to judge the review bases off that.] --- See what happened there? If you don't take the time to proofread, then no one knows what you're trying to say. In this case, I was saying people will judge a review based on how it's written.
Proofread before posting. Some people the to judge the review bases off that. That was a great itinerary, but the review didn't mention anything about it; and no pictures. Why are there no pictures? In a case where you didn't enjoy the ship, this is where I say: "Enjoy the destinations!".
Interesting that you had some incredible ports, but did not mention one word about the port, other than the Cruise Line didn’t handle them well. Maybe cruising isn’t the best way for you to travel since you didn’t care for much on the ship.
