Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Food was very good everywhere we ate! We had the free dining package and enjoyed Teppanyaki and Cagney’s Steakouse the best. If we didn’t have the dining package there are many free places to dine as well which were equally good in food quality! Epic food did not disappoint! Nice too to have 24 hour option at O’Sheehan’s.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Probably the only negative was the small swimming pools. Otherwise the water slideS, the fitness center, the shops, and the rock wall were nice! Nice amount of lounge chairs too throughout the pool decks.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
No reason to be bored on a cruise ship. Endless activity offerings for all ages. My only complaint was not being able to participate in more activities. We enjoyed the pool deck music and contests, The Cavern/the Beatles- outstanding!, Dueling pianos in Howl at the Moon- fun times!, and comedians were good. Also participated in “Escape the Big Top” ( escape room themed game) - that was fun!
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Overall staff was friendly and helpful and service was good most of the time. Service in the restaurants could be slow at times but not due to slow staff, they were constantly busy, just seems not enough staff to accommodate all their guests. Our cabin steward was very nice and kept our room clean.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
We thought the ship layout and design was good overall. Ship was kept clean and areas maintained. The only negative to us was the casino - it had lingering smoke/odor - and some venues were on/ around the casino deck so unavoidable. Spice H2O was a smoking area also on the back of the ship so was easily avoidable.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Overall cabin was nice and clean. 2 issues- bed length was short (I’m 5’9”) and vanity could use better lighting (too dim).
Ship tip
Book shore excursions and dining (if you have the package) early!
Sky Safari Zipline is THE BEST! Highly recommended! Great tour guides there and zipline is hands free. I’ve been on a few different ziplines but none compare to this one.
We’ve been to Aruba on a few cruise stops. We rented a SUV for our family and toured the island on our own. The only drawback- streets are not marked on the map or the streets themselves. Not too hard to navigate around since island is small.
