Food on Epic was disappointing. In the buffet, although they changed the theme daily, the fare remained pretty much the same everyday. We only ate in the dining once or twice. The service great, the food not so much. One bright spot was the Shanghai restaurant. It is a complimentary dining experience and the food was very good.
Onboard Activities

Pools too small. Water slides fun. The game shows put on by the cruise staff were just OK.
Entertainment

Dancers and shows were pretty good. Comedians, etc. not so much.
Service and Staff

Service and staff were excellent. Our cabin attendent was outstanding. He was friendly, efficient and had a great sense of humor. Overall the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Ship Quality

Didn't care for the layout of the ship. That said the ship appeared to be well maintained and clean.
Cabin / Stateroom

Lots of storage, roomy enough and a tad larger than usual balcony. I am somewhat undecided about the bathroom design and don't really care for the wavy wall design.
1960cruiser....I appreciate your comment. The Epic cruise was my 29th cruise. I have cruised Cunard, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Norwegian, Carnival and Princess. I was not "unhappy" about the cruise. What you read was an honest appraisal of my Epic cruise based on my experience with several other ships/cruise lines. Please understand that I am although I may not be Salty Sam himself I am not a novice cruiser. Thank you again for your comments. Hope your next cruise is a good one.
Judging from your review...... I dont think you would be happy on any cruise, since I was on the Epic and had a great time, and didnt experience what you posted, and am curious why you sailed on Epic twice if it's that bad
