Review summary

We had sailed on the smaller Norwegian Pearl last year and it was fantastic. My advise would be to bypass the Epic for a smaller Norwegian boat

Worst ever. 4+ hours in line, with over 2 in the sun. No water provided. No Norwegian staff to direct traffic or answer questions

Buffet average. Awesome experience with Teppanyaki offset by very poor experience with La Cucina

Onboard Activities

Comics were great. Friends we went with loved the Beatles band. Unacceptably small pools that were closed half of the time. Very disappointing pool experience.

Shows were ok. Comics were great during late shows!

Service and Staff

Staff appeared generally unhappy compared to previous cruises we’ve been on. We departed the Epic and immediately boarded the Royal Caribbean Freedom of the Seas, and the difference was quickly apparent. Except the “washy washy” girl - always a big smile on her face! :)

Small, but we expected this as we booked an inside cabin. Wish there had been even a small space to sit other than the stool that was provided. Inside room 6331 on RC boat significantly larger with 2 couches and a desk.
