Great way to see a variety of European cities. We didn’t really get to experience the ship as much as we would like since we would be on excursions all day and would come back exhausted. I would definitely cruise again on the Epic in the Med!

Embarking in Rome on the epic was the fastest I’ve ever had! Most people get on the boat in Barcelona for this itinerary so boarding in Rome was great

Specialty restaurants were fabulous! The main dining room wasn’t as great, I thought portions were kind of small or not as filling. Buffet always had great options.

Ship was very clean. My problem with the layout was the fact that the elevator situation was horrible. There simply is not enough elevators on this ship. I remember having to wait forever only to get on a jam packed lift. People started getting pushy near the end and would cut inline to get on one before you even if you were there first. I think this is a bigger problem while in Europe, you spend all day walking and exploring the towns and are exhausted when coming back versus in the Caribbean you are probably spending more time relaxing.
Cabin / Stateroom

Very beautiful room and nice sized balcony. The beds were comfortable. There is lots of storage as well. Like others the bathroom situation is a bit awkward, I would only want to travel in one with someone I am close with. I was with my husband and we still made the other go out on the balcony while we had to use the toilet.
Ship tip
Avoid the mid ship elevators, the ones in the back are not as busy. Be prepared to use the stairs.
We went with NCL’s excursion ‘Nice and the view from Eze’ it was probably my favorite excursion. We visited a perfume and soap making factory, I bought my favorite perfume there and I need more, I always get compliments and the scent takes me back to the beautiful Eze. We ate lunch in Nice and I loved this town! I would absolutely do this tour again.
