Review summary

On the whole an excellent cruise but rather bigger than I like. Prefer the smaller ships. I am not that keen on the totally Freestyle as felt it a bit too casual but it is to some peoples taste. I like a more formal cruise experience and main dinning fixed seating.

Great selection of food. Always found table to sit without too much trouble.

Onboard Activities

Lots to do on board. I just relaxed but my grandson did rock climbing numerous times, water pard and loved teen club

I loved this area but main comment no shade at alland it became just too hot when temperatures were high. Shades would have made for a more pleasant experience but the quietness without kids to relax great.

Hated the bedroom layout with toilet and shower separate a d sunk in bedroom just did not wirk for us

Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin confirmed as twin beds put bed could not be split more than 2 inches so I was not happy at prospect if sleeping with grandson. In end couch was removed and bed split but it took Some lengthy discussion to get this actioned. I was told my grandson could sleep on sofa bed but I refused as I had paid full fare for him and I demanded a full size twin bed, in the end got what I had paid for!!!!

Ship tip

Be prepared to stand in line if you need Guest Services as I spent almost 2 hours of the holidai in line waiting. Also check your account carefully for odd items to slip in.
