This ship sucks and I’ll never sail on it again! I hated every second I was on this ship. Everything was dirty. MY BOYFRIEND STEPPED IN HUMAN S*** IN THE RESTROOM. It always felt gross. There was never anything to do as everything was always booked up. There was never anywhere to sit as people reserved seats they weren’t even using. I will never sail on this ship again!
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Embarkation was very slow. Workers were not polite or helpful. They seemed very rushed and weren’t very helpful in guiding which way to go.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
The choice and diversity in food was pitiful. The buffet was awful. They had the same things all the time! Nothing ever changed!
The Manhattan room was the only good part of the dining experience. It was quiet and the food was great. But sadly, this great experience was way overshadowed by the awful experiences otherwise.
Onboard Activities
1 out of 5
My family and I were constantly bored. You had to book things to do before you even got on the ship! Everything was always booked. We didn’t get to go to any of the cool things on the ship (although there weren’t that many to begin with) because there were no spots left open... even on the first day!!!
This was clearly a booze cruise. That’s the only fun thing you could do that was open!
Entertainment
2 out of 5
There wasn’t much to do. We couldn’t get into any of the entertainment activities onboard. Everything was already booked up by the first night. It sucked. I was bored all the time.
Service and Staff
2 out of 5
The room staff were very kind and polite. They were always helpful.
As for all of the other staff, they sucked. They lacked organization and cleanliness. They were rude and shoved their way by you. This happened multiple times throughout the cruise and it was very annoying.
Also, I will mention. As I did go on the New Year’s Cruise, it was crazy. The workers were severely disappointing. They had to hand out champagne to everyone and if they weren’t drunk or high themselves, they were assholes to guests. They shouldn’t have been consuming it themselves while on duty and as for being high, I have no idea how they managed to do that on a ship with tight security.
Ship Quality
1 out of 5
MY BOYFRIEND STEPPED IN HUMAN SHIT IN A BATHROOM ON THIS SHIP.
This ship was absolutely disgusting. All the handrails felt gross. Tables were always dirty. The buffet always felt gross to eat and be in. Nothing felt clean... but to actually step in human shit is ridiculous! When he left the restroom, a worker saw him and he told her what happened and all she did was spray some spray on his shoe and that was it. I cannot believe he went through that! It was his first cruise and it was absolutely miserable!
Cabin / Stateroom

It seemed very run down. It was dirty and just didn’t feel great to be in.
Ship tip
Don’t go on this ship. Pick any other ship. This one sucks. If you do pick this ship for some unknown reason... book everything in advance. Get down to get good seats by the pool at 4:00 in the morning. Don’t eat during peak times, it’s gross.
This was pretty good. Felt safe and had a lot of fun on the beach. Watch out for sea urchins though! We saw a lot under rocks with just their spines sticking out. I’m surprised the ship didn’t warn passengers of these!!!
I've sailed for 3 straight weeks on the Epic. I knew ahead of time to make all my reservations for shows/dinners, but if I recall, every show had a "standby" for people who didn't make reservations and they usually were allowed into the shows The entertainment was excellent. Some of the food was repeated on the menus, but we crossed the Atlantic and then Mediterranean Sea, so it was expected. The service was very good. I would venture to say maybe some of the issues you bought upon your self? I must say I still feel Royal Caribbean service is superior. I'm sailing on Carnival for the 1st time in Jan, 2020.
