Cleanliness was great. Ship layout was confusing with no easy way to cross over on stateroom floors.

Initially the cabin smelled bad. The carpet and floors were cleaned and room was great. Quick remedy.

Ship tip

Do your homework. There are so many places to visit along this trip. Use your favorite guidebook. We used three Rick Steves books: Europe through the Backdoor, Best of Europe, and Mediterranean Cruises. The itinerary was perfect and didn’t cost a small fortune!

Spent time on our own in the city. Be aware of transfer cost from city to port. We took the train. Had to deal with our own luggage but it worked fine.
