I would not cruise on the Norwegian Epic again. I do not like the lay out of the cabin. Having the shower on your right as soon as you enter the cabin and the toilet to the left. Both with frosted glass doors. You cannot open the cabin door if someone is at the door and someone is in the shower. Every sound and smell is heard by your cabin mate. It’s fine if you are not sharing the cabin. Having the sink in the cabin was okay. One plus there is lots of storage. The beds are short so your feet hangs off the bed. The pull out sofa is very narrow and short but very comfortable to sleep on.

The Majority of the staff were not friendly and came across as being rude. They all had an attitude of not caring. They don’t even make eye contact with you. And make you feel like you were bothering them. They all need to Change their attitudes and to remember it’s the guests that keep them employed.

The design of the ship is not very good, because of this I never explored the ship. You have to walk through the Casino to get to most places and end up smelling like smoke. The elevator were always crowded.
Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was not clean when we boarded the ship and was never cleaned property through out our stay. Our steward was forever knocking on our cabin door to see when were we leaving so he could clean the cabin. When in reality all he did was make the beds. The glass in the shower was filthy when we got there. I had to ask him to clean it when we arrived. And he never cleaned it again. The carpet in the cabin was never vacuumed, overall the cabin was not very clean.
Ship tip
You get what you pay for. So if you can afford to pay more spend those extra dollar and book with a different cruise line or a different Norwegian ship.
I did not do an excursion. Cannes film festival was still on, the port was not as crowded as I thought it would be. I throughly enjoyed exploring this port on my own.
