Review summary

This was our 5th NCL cruise and so many things bothered us and were not up to our standards. We have never been said "no" to on any other cruiseline and this cruise we were alwyas told "no" or not accommodated so many times.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
efficient and very organized and QUICK!!!!!!!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Cagney's was the best! The others were not. We went to Taste ( a main dining room) a few times and it was better than some of the specialty restaurants. The buffet at lunch was just "eh"

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
too crowded and not very well organized and many were at the same time as other activities we would have liked to go to.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Burn the Floor and Priscilla were fabulous, but we had reservations, otherwise they were very crowded and totally not enough cocktail staff

Children's Programs

we did not this time, travel with children

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
did not seem motivated and not enough staff

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
some of the areas were not that easy to get to, and crowded and SMOKY!!!!!

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
the layout was awful, the blacony way too big, would rather have had more cabin space and less balcony. the bathroom layout was not great, with the sink and toilet and shower all separate and way too small. hard to maneuver around the cabin

Ship tip

get it together and learn from RCCL

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida Did not visit port

just boarded the ship, did not explore

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

4 out of 5
we walked around as we had been there previously, and were sad about the devastation from the hurricanes

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

5 out of 5
it has always been one of our favorite ports and yet we were sad about how it has been affected by the hurricanes. Not so lush and luxurious anymore

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas Did not visit port

we were there a few months ago and it is basically just an overcrowded beasch with a full of flies barbeque. nothing in comparison to teh otehr "private islands" we have visited

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
we carried our own luggage off and were off the ship and on our way home in less than 15 minutes
