Review summary

We enjoyed our cruise and would recommend the Epic Ports were great but I could have skipped the stop in Cannes. We spent a few hours in the city and then went back to the ship and sat by the pool for the rest of the day. Lots to do on the ship if you wanted and places just to sit and do nothing too. Not many children on our cruise since we cruised during a non holiday/vacation time.

No real promenade deck and walking on the jogging track doesn't really have an ocean view. It's blocked by the life boats. We knew about this when we booked and did enough walking in ports everyday to get our steps in but would have liked some outdoor walking area separate from the pool area.

Get a room close to the elevators, learn the layout of the ship while you are waiting for your luggage to be delivered.

Spent the day visiting Sorrento and Amalfi. Towns were crowded do to worker holiday but still had a great day.

Visiting the beautiful city of Pisa and then went to Tuscany for a wine tasting and lunch at a vineyard. Excursion booked thru the cruise ship so our 40 lunch mates were all on our ship. Great way to get to know everyone.

Cannes, France

City was getting ready for the Cannes Film Festival, so construction stuff going on. And sidewalks were dirty. Residents let their dogs do their business on the sidewalks and and they don't pick it up. Have to walk around lots of dog poop!!

Visited the village of Valdemossa up in the mountains. Cloudy and cool day but still a beautiful place to visit.
