Review summary

We were pleased with the accommodations, and hospitality. The ports were changed due to hurricane devastation at the planned ports. We would have liked to be given an option.

Embarkation

1 out of 5
We were in line from 2pm- 6:20pm. Thankfully, it was a mild overcast Florida afternoon. Water was provide, but there were absolutely zero communication by NCL.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Dining rooms and buffets were very welcoming, clean, and provided a variety of meals and drinks.

Taste

5 out of 5

Nice ambience.

The Manhattan Room

5 out of 5

Friendly staff, great ocean views.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The live band was fantastic. H2O provided great DJs. I also like the fact that the music was not to loud for having conversations. I did not like the fact that reservations was needed to attend free shows. Dinner was freestyle, but the shows was by reservations.

Children's Programs

No children.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
I liked the diversity. Also everyone understood and spoke English.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It is a well maintained vessel. It was also the easiest to get around compared to my other cruising experiences.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
This is the first time I reserved a balcony. We were very pleased.

Ship tip

Book all your shows for the cruise on day 1. Do not wait much longer if you intend to do shows.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
It is conveniently located to my home. The parking costs and options are reasonable.

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
Lots of shopping available.

Falmouth, Jamaica

5 out of 5
New facilities, but much development is needed outside the facilities.

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
I did the Rum Distillery Excursion.

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

3 out of 5
A very relaxing and accommodating beach day.

Disembarkation

2 out of 5
There was nothing easy for those of us who carried our luggage. We were all sent to the same floor with a choice of disembarking either front or aft. The lines snaked all the way to the opposite ends. It was even more confusing for those using the middle elevators. Again no communication or directions from crew, and staff.

What ports were you originally scheduled to visit? I am concerned that I am set to depart on 12/9 and can’t get straight answer on if itinerary has changed.
