Review summary

Juices in machines are not 100% pure juice. Several times I heard senior staff berating junior members in public within dining facilities. This needs to be done behind closed doors.

Tipping is expected but yet gratuity is added daily.

Pools are entirely too small. Spa services are terribly overpriced. ATM machines didn't work at all. Fees for internet usage is too high based on data use.

All in all the staff was excellent. Didn't expect to see senior staff berate service staff in Garden Cafe in front of customers. This should be done behind closed doors. Witnessed on numerous occaisions.

Cabin steward was very helpful. Had a sewage scent problem on day 4 within our cabin, crew brought a filter machine to get rid of scent, it worked. Several other guest also noticed the scent.

Ship tip

Shore excursions need to be priced reasonably. Booking seperately is way cheaper than through Norwegian. You're losing money.

That juice does it for me! I can't sail on a ship without 100% juice. Tipping up front does strange things to service. They know they are getting it either way good or bad service. But I found the Breakaway was outstanding service so I am happy to tip up front.

Your first comment is that they don't use 100% juice? Wow, that settles it. I'm not stepping foot on that ship.

With a rating of 4 stars it would lead me to assume that overall you were pleased with the cruise. You just wanted to post a review on the few negatives you found. So overall a skewed view of your trip.
