Review summary

The ship is designed so that all the action is reduced to 3 floors.  During sea days these floors become quickly packed with people and found the areas to be crowded and tightly closed.  The service at most places was terrible.  The food in the main dinning areas was poor and forget about eating at the buffet. The food in the buffet areas was the worst.  Food in the specialty restaurant was good and would recommend purchasing a specialty restaurant package over the drink package.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
It was difficult to find activities during the sea days and in the evenings unless you had a show scheduled.

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
Poorly designed ship. Compared to other ships it was actually difficult to find bathrooms. Most times the bathrooms were very busy and dirty.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Cabin design was ok and the bathroom was actually larger than on most ships. The room was very noisy due to the kids area on the 15th floor. Often the kids would be active till midnight.

Ship tip

The ships ports were excellent and would recommend any of these ports. Try to only schedule this ship if you will have good weather and can enjoy the outdoor pool area. Don't expect much in the way of onboard activities. Buy the specialty dining package.

I get both pkgs and enjoy the whole 7 days. There are times of the day when complimentary dinning places are not so crowded.

It's not Norwegian, it's the ship, we have sailed on Norwegian seven different cruises with Norwegian Cruise Lines. the ship is designed poorly and the ship cannot handle the amount of passangers that they put on it. I highly recommend if you have a cruise do not cruise on that ship. The epic is not fun

Thanks for the input. We are considering going with a large group this fall. I see most rooms are 128 square feet. Sleep, shower and ... Oh my! This is smaller than my camper. My guess the goal is to keep you out of your room and spending $$$.

Don't trust us. Our references are simple opinions. Life the experience, you may enjoy it.
