Review summary

Enjoyed cruise very much. Ship was clean and well maintained with plenty of amenities and things to do. Variety of food choices and restaurants, but food quality a little underwhelming. Every port has plenty of things to offer, but ship’s schedule is tight and provides little time to spend at each port, especially if doing excursion.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Seanless, easy, and uncomplicated embarkation. Staggered schedule makes for little or no lines.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Plenty of food choices, but quality was so-so. Specialty dining was good, but main dining and buffet were just ok.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Go-kart, laser tag, and VR game room were all entertaining and worth doing them, although they could be open more hours. Of course, busy on at-sea days but closed or limited hours on port days.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Excellent shows and entertainment. Choir of man was great, so we’re comedians. Cruise’s activities were also very entertaining; especially since cold weather prevents pool and other outdoor activities.

Children's Programs

No children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Excellent service all around from port personnel, room attendant, waiters and servers, and bartenders.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship is well maintained and very clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Awesome room. Clean and spacious for two. Not sure that comfortable with extra person. Unobstructed view from balcony, but thought it would be a little bigger. A little crammed with chairs and table.

Ship tip

Take time to explore entire ship. Plenty of bars away from crowds with great views and comfortable.

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

5 out of 5
Seattle is vacation by itself. Flew three days earlier and explored city. Major attractions within walking distance, but be careful walking at night. Large homeless population, although relatively harmless.

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
Didn’t get to explore town much due to short time in port. Great whale watching/glacier excursion, although a little rushed…again, due to ship’s schedule.

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
Full day in Skagway made it highlight of trip. Walked town and visited/toured red onion saloon. Had lunch at Woadie’s and then took white pass railroad excursion to summit. Breathtaking views!! Highly recommend.

Cruise Glacier Bay

KETCHIKAN (WARD COVE), ALASKA

5 out of 5
Again, great town but didn’t get to explore it due to ship’s short stop here. Excursion to totem pole park and wild animals was worth it.

Victoria, British Columbia

5 out of 5
Great small town but not enough time to explore due to ship’s schedule.
