Any issues we had were minor compared to the overall amazing trip we had. My biggest piece of advice is do not do the horse drawn trolley in Victoria because it was the worst part of the trip. I would definitely cruise on Norwegian again. They are fast, efficient, and very helpful. Everything is clean and well kept. The food overall was good.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Considering the huge amount of people the line moved fast and it was organized
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Loved the buffet and all the desserts on board. We did not like the French restaurant and I did get undercooked chicken from the Garden Buffet once.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Many activities offered. Lots of variety. Not sure why there was so many art auctions. It didn't look like any of the paintings were bought. After spending all that money on a Cruise who wants to buy an expensive piece of art work.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Lots of music however The Choir of Men was cheesey so we wished there was something else offered on board.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Excellent prompt service. Very professional however there was a bit of a language barrier. We ordered a 3 cheese pizza and got 3 cheese pizzas and this was a recurring issue with through out the cruise. However the staff still worked really hard.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Very clean however they need more hot tubs! Only 4 hot tubs is way too little for that many people going to Alaska in chilly weather!
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Super comfortable bed. Larger room and bed then expected. Good size balcony.
Ship tip
Prepare to spend a lot on board even if you have a drink package there are all types of charges and fees for things.
Beautiful and we took a bus up the Yukon passage to the suspension bridge in Canada and it was stunning. We had a salmon bake afterwards at Liarsville and it was delicious and a lot of fun. Highly recommend!
Not good at all. Do not take the trolley horse ride. It was basically a tour of side streets and apartment buildings and crazy drivers trying to run us off the road. Only one good place to take pictures and that was when we went by the Parliament building. Wish we did the gardens.
100% agree about the horse-drawn trolley. A waste of money. A tour of nothing interesting since it's too slow to go on main roads near actual sights. We got heckled the whole way by frustrated drivers. The walking path into Victoria from the port is clearly marked. Just follow that into town!
