Ship tip
Be aware when taking a massage!! My daughter and I booked Swedish massages at the same time. My massage started almost in an argument, because my therapist insists that I need a Deep Tissue massage without even asking me anything. After I got tired of arguing and told her that I am going to walk out, she said that she will go in front at the desk and ask them what hey think is best for her to do!!!??? I couldn't believe my ears!! That should have been it for me, but I didn't want this to spoil my beautiful and relaxing cruise!! I was so wrong!! I got 70 min. of pure torture and up to this day, I have to take painkillers in order to have a good ight sleep. My body (right leg, hip and back) is in constant pain, especially when I go to bed or get up from sitting down. I have been in therapy for the past weeks that I have been back home and had to pay it all, because the injury didn't happen at home. The so called massage cost me $149,- and my therapy is already twice that! I left the Spa almost in tears and just keep trying to forget the horrible experience. The therapist talked for about 45 min. while I tried to relax, even though that was just as bad. Thank God everything else on the ship and on shore was totally relaxing and invigorated at the same time.
