Review summary

Because I signed up for Covid exposure notifications I’ve been notified that I was exposed during the cruise to Covid which I ultimately tested positive for. It is the first time I’ve had Covid as I’m typically careful. Wear your masks and be safe

Thanks for the heads up. I have a cruise with Norwegian next spring and was hoping I wouldn't have to worry too much about COVID because Norwegian has strict vaccination and testing policies. I still don't know if I will wear a mask. I am triple vaxxed and have not yet had COVID to my knowledge, but I feel like getting it is inevitable and I'm tired of not living my life, you know? I'll probably go by what the situation is like when I go.

Probably will not be the last time you get COVID either. People seem to think they can live the rest of their lives without getting it if they just be careful. Not likely. I've had it three times so far, and none of those came from a cruise. Just have to accept that it is around, just like the common cold, the flu, norovirus, and so on, none of which seemed to make anyone freak out if they got them. (Although I'd probably freak out about norovirus...stomach illnesses are the worst! I'd rather have COVID than a stomach bug)

Thanks. Hope you weren’t poorly. You may have caught covid on the ship or at any of the ports. A risk we have to accept with anywhere we want to go these days.
