If you have not been to Bermuda this is a fabulous way to see it. We only booked one excursion (catamaran) and the rest of the time was spent exploring on our own-saw so much for much less money! Transportation is extremely easy with multiple-day bus passes ($28/3 days). Taxis are too expensive. The buses are soooo clean and the people are over-the-top nice on the island and willing to direct you anywhere.

Overall the ship was great. We really enjoyed everything about it. Everything from the food to the entertainment and activities were great. Although, I would recommend to control your alcohol before you rack up a huge bill.

We went on the Norweigen Dawn to Bermuda. I had gone on a Noweigen cruise to Bermuda several years ago and it was 100 times better. I do not remember which boat it was, but it was not the Dawn. The swimming pool was very cold. (We did not swim until we got to Bermuda). The cabins are very small and therefore uncomfortable. The food was ok but you would expect it to be great food. Also, if you go to the buffet for lunch, it is very hard to find a table. We met some people on board and they paid extra to eat at a better restaurant and they were still disappointed. The shows were OK but nothing great, especially the final show of the trip where you would expect a great finale, it was like the left over parts of the other shows. Very disappointing. Also, there is a $12 per person per day fee which I was not aware of until on board. We were 5 people for 7 days or $420 extra cost for the trip. This is supposedly for tips for the room and waiters. If you like their work or not you have to tip them this amount of money. I always thought tips goes by performance (not here). And there is very little for kids to do on board. There is an excursion to bring you to a beach for $26 per person, you can take the local bus for $8 round trip per person. With the excursion you have to go to the beach at their time and return at their time. With the bus you go whenever you want and return whenever you want. It would have cost us $130 to go to the beach with the excursion and with the bus it cost $40. This is a rip off. Also they tell you that the buses may be crowded and not worth the wait, but we found that they came often and were not that crowded.

I was mainly looking forward to "free style cruising"-enjoy the ship and activities at your own pace. However, that translated into big lines everywhere. It turned out that most people like to dine at the same time, so that meant longer wait at the "included" retaurants. Staff around ship is very friendly and helpful. Compared to other cruises, it was very expensive onboard.

This was our first cruise and first trip to Bermuda. We will be doing both again and on ths same ship if possible. If not with NCL at the least. They really were great. The "Freestyle" cruising idea works for us because we didn't want to be tied to certain people / mealtimes. The staff on board is really great. The entertainment was well rounded. The food, once we got away from the caf, was very good. Even the caf was fine, no surprises, just a bit bland so everyone is happy I guess. The few things we noticed was that there were a lot of fees if you wanted anything other to drink besides tap water which may all be standard, this was our first time. And the Duty Free shop is no bargain. Also the main pool struck me as small but that may be normal. There were plenty of hot tubs! Bring money if you want to do anything on Bermuda besides sit on the (Gorgeous) beaches. Seriously. Its a beautiful place with no real poverty that we saw but you pay extra for all that.

This was our first cruise. We would recommend this ship to others. Again, the staff was fantasic. We took the Bermuda tour and had an excellent guide. One of the gacuzzi's on one partiuclar day was not too hot.

From the 1st day on board I realized this was not going to what I expected out of NCL. In no particular order, sour milk multiple times, dirty glasses left in the room from day 1 until we left, a guy cleaning the windows while at sea with no warning and my wife and I in bed, awful food except for the restaurants you have to pay to eat at, they were very good, dirty towells on the floor rehung, no one on board speaks english, too many other things to remember. The Tina Turner lady was great though.

For us, this iterniery was perfect. Sea time for winding fdown, 3 full days in Bermuda. There was time for the beach, time to shop and time to explore. We would do this particular cruise again.

The ship itself is big, beautiful and well laid out. See my review of various areas below. Signage is good all thru ship. You really need to refer to signs to find your way around this LARGE ship.

The Dawm was for us the largest ship we had been on. It was truly beautiful, and everything was well marked. There was so much to do and the staff, everyone, were so helpful and kind and so polite. The food was excellent and so much to choose from. My husband and I celebrated our 36th anniversary on board and 40 years together, and it was truly magical. I never saw so much crystal and sparkling things in one place and always clean. Loved this trip to Bermuda and loved this ship.

The staff were very friendly, professional and accessible. Our rooms were cleaned twice a day. The wait staff were very sweet to the kids and treated us very special. The entertainment was high quality and varied. Loved all the shows!

The ship was good. Things were very expensive on the ship though. They charge a daily service charge for each person. They also tried very hard to get you to buy more things which is kinda hard to keep track of since you are using a keycard and not a credit card.

We sailed with Norwegian a few years ago and were not very happy with the cruise. The food was terrible then and we really thought we would never sail with them again. We decided to give Norwegian another try and we are so happy we did! We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the food, the room , the entertainment! We were very impressed with the warmth of the crew. Everyone was respectful and so helpful! Norwegian has been added to our list of favorite cruise lines!
