Well organized activities. Great food variety. Extremely friendly staff

The ship had a number of plumbing problems, leaking from the ceiling in many areas, bathrooms out-of-order and water on the floor

Only had one problem with the staff and it was not resolved

We decided to go all out and booked a Penthouse suite at the front of the ship with a large verranda. However, we were not informed prior to booking that you are not allowed to use the verranda while the ship is at sea? When you are docked at Ports usually one doesn't stay behind to hang out on their verrandas. Also, there were several maintenance issues which were taken care of within reason. 1. Personal effects, papers, trash from the two gentlemen who had our suite prior to our cruise. 2. Neither safe in the suite was working 3. Vanity light wasn't working 4. Suite was dusty, asked to have it dusted and vacumed again 5. On two separate occassions crew workers were on our private veranda, painting without any notice walked in front of our cabin while we were changing. 6. Wet paint signs stuck on our private veranda for three days. 7. On two separate occassions the crew workers requested to carry paint and supplies thorugh our suite while we were in our suite resting. I took pictures of them. 8. Food menu in the Venitian Rstr. was redundant, not that good. Would recommend the suites in the back of the ship vs the front, less expensive and more private.

Ship was beautiful. However, the pool area did not have any shade where the lounge chairs were and therefore we could ot sit by the pool.

This cruise was very much a laid back cruise. Even with a couple dozen spring breakers it was still an older crowd with the main entertainment being sunbathing with a drink. The cruise director Matt Baker maid a ok cruise very good. The food was over processed and mediocre at all the free dining areas. Overall the staff was very courteous minus a single waiter we had our first night. The shows we ok with the Second City crew carrying a ok comedian and magician and a bad acrobatic/dance review. This is a great cruise for the older crowd but if your looking for exciting night life look somewhere else.

Hard working crew, very clean, lots of quality entertainment.

The room stewards were wonderful, and the crew very polite and helpful. The time spent going to the Mayan Ruins was long and very unorganized. Specifically, the lunch procedure within the Stardust Theater. Lots of wasted time, inconvenience of passengers.

Ship was nice but older. Room was decent but not dusted properly.

This was an excellent cruise overall!

We took our 10 year old twins on their first cruise and what a treat for our entire family!! Loved the Dawn, especially how clean and tidy everything stayed, the relaxed atmosphere, the kidz program was fabulous! We will definitly be back with Norwegian!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for a wonderful Spring Break family getaway!

ship lacked a shaded area with lounges to sit. If you wanted shade you had to sit on uncomfortable chairs with no padding

We have sailed on several cruise ships and we would rate the Norwegian Dawn among the best, even though it is getting a little tired. We enjoyed the pool, the health club, the jogging track, and many other aspects of the Dawn. Our cabin was comfortable and well laid out. We found it easy to get around the ship and we were amazed at its calm ride through the waters.

I was very unhappy when I booked this trip it was a surprise for my x-husband's birthday and I was going to repropose to him but since we had the worst time of our lives it just didn't happen. The week was Spring break which I wasn't told about and the spring breakers were vomiting everywhere, throwing things over board and starting fights with everyone, they were rude and we never even got to lay on the deck or go in the pool or the spa they pretty much took over the boat.

The onboard workers were excellent and friendly. Bathroom superior to other cruise ships, especially the shower. Overfacilities need some major TLC

This was our first cruise and absolutely loved the experience. The staff was very efficient, courteous and helpful. Over the top service. Loved the food and restaurants and entertainment. The Cruise Director was top notch and very funny. He was born for his job. Can't wait to go again!

Even though the ship is going in for refurbishing in May, the ship is not run down or lacking. Food was wonderful, staff is friendly and efficient as ever. Entertainment was not as good as other ships; however, the cruise director was the best I've had in my nine cruises. Lots of little kids on this ship due to the T-Rex kids center. Me, husband and two teens (17 and 16) had a wonderful cruise.

The cruise line knew of the engin problems for a long time before we sailed. Some people were notified as early as Sept. that the engins were experiencing problems. We missed a port, were sent to 2 different ports, had a fire in the incenerator, lost hot water for an evening..The captain sent all a letter to our rooms stating that Norwegen offered to refund our money due to the engine problems if we didn't want to sail. No one I talked to ever heard the offer. The best food was the cafeteria.. Main dining room not good. The entertainment was great though, and saved the day- sort of. Elevators broke on debarktion.

We were very pleased with the balcony cabin. Full of light, comfortable and lots of room to move about. Staff was wonderful! Lots of things to do on the ship. Freestyle dining is just what we like. The Star Bar had fabulous martinis!!
