My big complaint is guests not following dress code for dinner in the main dining rooms and the staff for not enforcing them. Otherwise everything else was excellent.

I enjoyed the cruise to Bermuda on the Spirit that we took last year better. I though the orgamization and the staff was much better

We overall really enjoyed our cruise on the Dawn and would do it again. The food was pretty good, the activities and entertainment from music to comedy to guest-participation shows were phenomenal, and our experiences in Bermuda were amazing. There are some down-sides to be aware of that are kind of ignored/hidden by all the marketing literature. To start, they were doing construction on the pool deck, so a section was completely closed throughout the cruise and surrounding areas were blocked off a few times, which made it really difficult to get across the deck. I wish they'd told us about that in advance. I was surprised by how many areas permitted smoking - in addition to the casino (which you had to walk through to get to some other areas at times), basically all outdoor decks allowed smoking everywhere, even where people were eating and right next to the pool and hot tubs. It's no fun to have smoke blowing in your face while you're relaxing in the hot tub. We were prepared for the drinks to be expensive but just want to reiterate that you should get the soda package if you have more than 3 small sodas a day and should know that EVERY drink order gets an automatic gratuity tacked on. Get your account statement every day and make sure the charges are accurate (we had one drink order double-charged and were missing an onboard credit). We were not really prepared for the abundance of tacky lottery sales and merchandising - there was a raffle for a free cruise they kept trying to sell tickets to, an "instant win" lottery type of promotion that was always being sold during other ship entertainment, ridiculously expensive bingo, "flea market" style tables with cheap watches frequently set up in the Atrium, and art auctions and spa specials being thrown in your face at every turn. Finally, there are really only two solid dinner restaurants that are included - all the other good restaurants have a $10 to $25 cover per person. The marketing made it sound like more of them would be included. The main dining rooms have rather limited hours (about 5:30-9:30pm) so you're otherwise stuck with the Garden Cafe buffet, which is decent but not fine dining by any means, or one of the limited-menu spots. Again, we overall liked the cruise, but we were surprised/disappointed by the way the things above were handled. There was excellent entertainment like Second City improv comedians, a great stand-up comedian, fantastic live bands, piano players, and a DJ, fun game show-style entertainment, trivia, and more that we couldn't fit it all in!

We had a lot of fun. The Kid's club is the best.

I would do the cruise again, although perhaps when my daughter is a bit older

There was plenty to do on the ship. Lots of restaurants (but service charges for the "specialty" ones.) Like how everything you spend is on your room key card and easy to keep track. Don't have to worry about cash except for casino.

This ship is old and does not have many things that the newer ships have. I would only recommed it to first time cruisers and and if you wanted to go to Bermuda from Boston.

This was our first cruise and we really enjoyed ourselves. The ship was very clean and well kept and the food was excellent.

This was the perfect vacation. The crew was absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious..Shows stupendous! Bermuda was so nice, easy to get around on the bus, the people were so helpful. Everything went smoothly. We met so many nice people.

several restrooms were not working, found cabin space to be too small, found lots of little benefits were no longer offered (ex: no shrimp cocktail at dinner unless you go to a "better" class & pay for it, swimming pool was small, do NOT like free style meals, miss the opportunity to meet & get to know same people at every meal,

I traveled with 20 adults and everything went very well. All were completly satisfied

THE STAFF WERE TERRFIC ESPECIALLY OUR HOUSEKEEPING DEPT RANSOM WAS THERE FOR ANY LITTLE THING WE NEEDED .

My friend and I had a fabulous time on the ship and in Bermuda despite the ship never finding my luggage and being told by customer service that certain things would happen in order to find my luggage but never did. My only recommendation is to carry your luggage on with you!

It seemed that this cruise was geared towards an older crowd. I felt as if it were a senior cruise. Many wheelchairs and canes (meaning these were all older people who need assistance to get around). Only one pool as compared to RC ship I was on in the past. The entertainment was very poor..."high school musical" Waiting 50 mins with a beeper for dinner in CRAZY. I getthe free style dinning but 50mins??? Pool ladies room broken all week and the ship just cam out of dry-dock I am comparing to the Freedom of seas in which I was on 2 yrs ago. BIG difference in the 2 ships. I enjoyed my vacation but would mostly not sail on NCL again

I think the ship was beautiful and well laid out. Crew service was extreamly professionaland curtious. The doors to the outside decks were extreamly hard to open during high wind conditions. I as a handicapped person had to depend on other passengers to open the outside doors for me.

i was disappointed in the boat, it just came out of dry dock and in my opinion it needs to go back, in the fitness club a lot of the treadmills were out of order and there was absolutely no air conditioning. i personally didnt care for the freestyle cruising, i dont like to wait to eat dinner. the food was mediocre, for the most part the crew was very friendly, but we did run into a few that were cranky. they really pushed the bingo on this cruise (2 a day) and the drinks. i like to relax on vacation and dont appreciate people trying to get me to spend more $$ on the cruise. i wouldnt cruise with norwegian again.

The ship was in need of significant updating and repair. The balcony light fell from the ceiling and hung there for over a day and a half, the electrical plug did not work for the first day and a half, the door handle on the promenade deck came off in my hand. Two elevators stopped working, the carpet was rolling in the common areas, and what made me the most upset was the fact that the main entrance was power-washed while in port and the handrails re-varnished. It was my first cruise and the last with Norwegian Cruise Lines.

Ship was a good size, although sometimes a little difficult to navigate until you got the hang of it.

The ship is a older boat and going in for a update. The pool is in need of a renovation. The ship is a nice size we do not like huge ships with 3000/4000 people.

Confusing to get around the ship. SMOKING is permitted in staterooms. This is a deal breaker for this couple. This was a "Freestyle Cruising" ship. We felt that this carried over into mediocre food. The crew and staff were very friendly and most helpful.
