Enjoyable cruise throughout, good entertainment, good and awesome service from the staff.

We had a great time. Would sail on the Dawn again.

An adult friendly ship, few children, with enough space to spread out. A 2 to 1 passenger to crew ratio was also helpful. The spa, while absurdly expensive, is worth a trip on one of their many "specials" days... Meaning, don't book all you appts on day 1....youll save a few hundred if you're flexible. And bring your own ibuprofen, zpack or other antibiotic, cough expectorant, etc... A med pack will also save you a great deal if you get sick...

The ship is going to get a 100 million dollar refurbishment. It will become an adult only after the dry dock some time in 2020. To my horror there was no Latin band on board. They had plenty of musical entertainment which had very, very good attendance throughout the cruise, terrible dance classes by staff, but good line dancing classes taught by Jodie the C.D. Jodie was great but the C.D. staff was inexperienced, the Production shows were packed, I only attended a few. All and all the cruise was ok for me but the lack of a Latin band was a tough pill to swallow.

Share pictures? Nobody ever came around taking pictures. You were never on the dock when we got off at the different ports. Really different. Not what we've experienced in the past with carnival.

Nice trip with excellent staff but too much upselling and money grubbing. I expect that in ports but on the ship it gets anoying. Encouraging a tip on an overpriced drink that already has an additional 20% gratuity automatically added is repugnant.

Ship was great except it needs more bars or open the bars they do have earlier. Staff was GREAT.

All in all a great cruise!! Freestyle rules! Will cruise with Norwegian again

We had a good time, but I don’t think we will go on the Dawn again! We are smokers and the smoking section is at the front of the boat on deck 14 by the Bimini Bar and it was cold and windy up there most of the time in the evenings and morning! They also took out a few tables and made a small area even smaller. We were told that they were revarishing the tables but we also heard there were complaints from the people on the 12th deck about the smoke. We thought it was strange to have the smoking deck at the front of the boat. It would have been better to have the kids pool area at the front and the smoking at the back. Overall it was a good cruise and we had a great time! The weather was very chilly the first 2 days but other than that it was a great way to spend 12 days!!

This was my 1st cruise. 11 days was too long to be on a ship. Much of the time at sea was very rough with waves and windy. Two of our stops were cancelled (Antigua and St Lucia) due to weather and we were not compensated. Instead we booked another offer at Port de France where we were diverted. The panoramic tour to beach. This was awful, the tour bus drivers drove way to fast on those windy roads and beach was dirty, the stop at the bananna plantation was a stop on the side of the road. This ship is a Very unfriendly ship for Smokers. We had to climb levels of stairs to the top deck to either be hit by wind or beating sun on us, no bathroom so back down the stairs for that. No smoking in Balcony rooms, really and why not. I could also smoke in the Casino of course when they were open and if I was playing, just a way to make you spend more money. I will not be cruising with Norwegian again.

Even though had some issues on this cruise, we still enjoyed our vacation and will be back, just not in the Dawn lol

We had a great time! The Dawn is showing her age and is scheduled for a needed refurbishment. The staff is fantastic and that’s what makes all the difference l. Yes we missed a few ports due to strong winds. Our fantastic captain made the right decision to press on. Instead we went to Martinique nice port we just walked around and tried to stay dry.

Our 20th anniversary trip was amazing. We very much enjoyed the thermal spa package and VIP treatment. We will definitely be sailing with NCL again. Our only problem is always before we sail. The NCL agent we had was terrible. Thankfully a supervisor stepped in and fixed EVERYTHING! For this reason, I will not reveal our NCL agents name but we will book differently next time.

Unfortunately weather was bad but cruise line and guests made the best of it.

Overall great cruise, be prepared for all the older guests as this is prime time for them.

An excellent cruise to ring in New Year’s Eve.

A+ Food, A++ service & A+++cleanliness but be aware of son extra charges in the acciunt and also has some hidden fees on the Soa, Gym & Sushi bar. The shire excursion was bad in Costa Maya “ruins”, the driver don’t allow is to used the bathroom room in the bus and also it arrives late and the bus was damage... but the tour guide was excellent

A cruise is what you do to make it fun and that’s what we do.

Confusing ship. Good food. Bamboo restaurant was so nice and delicious. Activities were moderate. I really thought the rooms were great besides not having even a safe in my room. Most rooms that had one were broken! Please be aware. They don’t tell you that I’m advance. But plenty of food choices when your tired of losing your way around the ship. It’s a maze inside! I actually found most easy to start on 7th floor in java cafe area and stay closest to the back of the ship and you’ll be fine.

The employees were very nice and tried to accommodate you as long as you were reasonable. I found the buffet good, not great. I do not recommend this ship for teenagers unless they bring friends along as the hang out area is lacking, the video arcade pretty small. There was no dancing or entertainment on the top deck at night, only 1 lounge which was ok all in all. I don’t think there was anything wrong with the cruise ship but I wouldn’t go on it again.
