NCL is clearly NOT recovered from COVID. One person I met had sailed with them 51 times and said this was the worst cruise ever and considering a new cruise line.

Food and Dining

The wait staff in regular restaurants were fabulous as usual. In specialty restaurants appears short handed. I had one horrible steak-all grisel.
Onboard Activities
1 out of 5
Everything seemed to require an up charge. On at sea days not enough to do. no scavenger hunts, few to no free classes, free movies from the 1980's? $10 for in room movies??? Internet was expensive and slow. Playing cards should be sold at the stores. Shopping areas were small. Little to no changes to activities on missed port days.
Entertainment

Shows I attended in the theater were ok. The other musicians in bars and lounges were ok. The main atrium singers sounded better behind the elevators than in the atrium and honestly were pretty horrible.
Service and Staff

I never saw my room's steward in the halls like the others. If we weren't out of the room between 600pm & 730pm he'd knock. We felt rushed to leave for dinner. NO towel animals :( ? The wait staff in the dining rooms worked their butts off to make ppl happy!!!
Ship Quality

Getting around some floors were difficult with dead ends requiring going up and down to other floors to get around.
Zebrugge is cute but small. Seems like a good jumping of point to other places like Ghent & Bruges. However, there were no tourist information people at the debarkation area to help with this. Due to weather cancellations, we spent 2 days here, NCL either did NOT offer additional excursions or did NOT COMMUNICATE they had any available (they had 3-4 days lead time to do this).
I did the Giant's Causeway and it was awesome. The only improvement would to have been offered an option to get dropped off intown (Belfast) instead of going back to the ship.
We did the hop on hop off but they ended options to get back to the ship 4 hours before departure so if you wanted to stay in town longer you had to get back on your own. You had to take tenders and it was a rough sea day-kind of dangerous. Okder passengers were in tears.
My excursion took me to the Blarney Castle. With the tour around Cork, while interesting left the time in Blarney tight. I got to the castle (30 minutes) to climb but little time left to explore the castle and no time for the woolen mills.
Cancelled due to weather. However, perhaps could have been revisited with revised itinerary instead of a second day in Zeebruge or a stop in Liverpool. Where they offered nothing. N
I will reiterate Ginny’s comments. This was the worst cruise that I have been on. NCL has declined to offer any compensation (legal writ in the contract you sign -beware). You’d expect if 4 ports (40% of the cruise) are cancelled and extra days at sea are added, you’d get something. But not even any extra events added on the ship nor excursions at the extra day at Zeebruge, nor the added port of Liverpool. Poorest customer service ever.
