Probably won’t do NCL again. Just a personal opinion.
Embarkation

Long, hot line at first, even getting there at noon. Once it started, it went smoothly.

Food and Dining

We ate the first night in the Venetian room. Very, very crowed, we had to wait, even with reservations. Service was ok, waitstaff was overworked, though they tried hard. Food was mediocre, at best. We ate mostly in the specialty restaurants. Enjoyed Cagney, although the side dishes weren’t very good, no green vegetables, except spinach. Great Caesar salad. Rack of lamb in Le Bristol was awesome, as was Osso Bucco in La Cucina. Los Lobos was inedible, we canceled any remaining reservations there. The buffet was always interesting, loved the pho
Onboard Activities

Gym was great, we spent a lot of time there, PT Kevin was awesome. Pool was always very crowded.
Entertainment

The music all around the ship was the worst I’ve ever heard. A guitar player who was tone deaf and only knew 3 chords, piano player who couldn’t sing and beat the piano like he was mad at it, pool band was ok.....

Service and Staff

Our room steward, Dennis, was excellent and did a good job. Our Butler, Chris, was also excellent. Love the afternoon cookies! Great bar tender, Dr. B, in the sugarcane lounge.

Dawn was very clean. It is kind of crazy that several floors don’t go all the way through. Not a problem, once you remember which ones don’t.
Love KeyWest, we’ve been there several times. We had originally booked a snorkeling trip through NCL, but the seas were too rough and we CNX. Went to the Rooftop Restaurant and had conch fritters and Cuban Sandwich instead. Yum!
So interesting to go through the canal. We had an aft balcony that enabled us to see everything, especially coming back through. Amazing to see the huge freighter towering over us. Everyone should go through the canal, if they get the chance. NCL provided documentary as we went through, very helpful and informative.
