Review summary

There were too many negative things on this ship which we never experienced on the other cruises we were on. I do not recommend the Dawn until these problems are rectified

The food was not good in the main dining room. Norwegian keeps cutting back each year on the food Over the fourteen day period we did not even get one evening of prime ribs. Over the years they cut out the lobster tails, rack of lamb , and escargots.

The service by the entire crew was excellent and accommodating. They all had a smile on their faces and were very nice. Our waitress Christine was terrific and did a great job

The cabin and ship was very clean

The cabin type as shown above was NOT obstructed. It had a full picture window. The water in the sink and shower was scalding hot and not adjustable We had to request for a plumber to fix it. For several hours one evening there was no water in the room and most of the ship. Not even in the toilet bowl. The safe in the room was broken and we were told that all white (700 safes) will not be fixed until December so there was no place to put our valuables. The thermostat in the room was broken and could not adjust the temperature ourselves. We had to call for maintenance because the room was very cold. We had to call again because he made it very hot.
