Dawn is in need of a makeover. I'm not sure why morale was so low on this cruise but it needs to be addressed. Personnel need to be better trained about where everything is on the ship and i think all should be able to speak English.

i was under impression there was a lap pool and very disappointed there was only one small pool aboard. fitness was ok but dated

again maybe spoiled by traveling last time on the escape where entertainment was great. on dawn the entertainment was cut rate and cheesy

this was the area we were most disappointed in. on past cruises all of the ship personnel were cheery and helpful. this time a great many of them were surly and unhelpful. also it amazed me how many did not know their way around ship when we asked questions and many spoke very little English. Really was shocking

suites and bathrooms were much smaller than the Escape

look for a newer ship to sail on and don't expect to much from the staff who did not seem to want to be there
Not everyone that goes on a cruise speaks English. That’s like going to another country and expecting them to speak your language instead of you learning theirs. At least they are working, and hard working at that.
Sorry you had a bad experience. I been on the dawn 2 times in 2017 and 2018 and it was recent dry docked and was renovated prior in 2016. I loved all the crew they even remembered our names by day 2. We had a great time
