Pack less then u think. You can have laundry or pressing done on board for reasonable price. Also if you do February out of nyc you will only have 3 days of warm weather out of 7.

Loved going to the Spa everyday but at the end seems as though they sold single days. As it was a February cruise it got cold on the last days; So many people in the spa partying. Be ware of the last days. We ended up not using it the last two days because it was overcrowded and loud.

Garden Cafe is best place for breakfast, snacks and lunch. Large (repetitive) display with varied regional food offerings (Chinese,Indian,British,Italian and more). Eat your fruit ( Cantalope, Banana and Grapes) early in cruise, they run out fast, than canned only.

Had a great time at the Manhattan and Shanghai for sit down dinner. Taste and Savor were useless for us as we are vegetarians.

There is nothing special about any place on the Breakaway; its cabins are small, tight, and not well-maintained. This is the second time that the heating in my cabin malfunctioned. NCL Management needs to ride these cruises as regulars and go incognito to test the staffnig and many service problems.

Meals in the complimentary restaurants are good... and service is attentive. If you can , mix in a few meals at the specialty restaurants... they are very enjoyable and you get lots of food.

The Manhattan dining room has the fastest service and staff very friendly. If you have special dietary needs, communicate this with manager and they will prepare your food ahead of time. This must be done at least 24 hours in advance.

If your Handicapped or elderly this ship has 4500 people running to elevators, restaurants, theater, tours, be prepared to run with the crowd. But If your young or have a family with children you will have a great time.

The dining upgrade package is well worth it! Also get out by 7:00 AM THE LATEST if you want to get decent (or any) deck or poolside lounges. Although reserving seats is discouraged, it seems everybody does it and ties them up for the whole day, unoccupied except for a towel tucked on the lounge

Some on board activities cost money. Getting the beverage package is very worth it but they do charge additional taxes while in NY and Cape Canaveral ports.
