Review summary

We had a fantastic time and would definetly go again, we would probably try a different ship. Only downside of our vacation was how packed the ship was (it was full capacity) and how they had limited activities open. Our destinations were amazing as well!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Super easy embarkation. I liked the idea of different groups, it kept from people stampeding all at once.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Most of the food was great. However I did not like one of the main dining rooms. Italian night at the buffet also made me extremely sick in the middle of the night. But we were having rough seas as well, so that may have been a factor

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Everything was fun, when it was open! We had BEAUTIFUL weather the entire trip with the exception of the last day. My husband and I really wanted to do the ropes course, the rock climbing wall, and the stand up water slides. The rock climbing wall was open pretty much whenever they felt like it, it would be open so we would go change and come back, and it would be closed again. Extremely aggravating, so we never got to do that. We called guest services and they said "they're open until 6", and they weren't. The stand up water slides were closed because they "needed to be cleaned" .....something that should be done before 2,000+ people pay tons of money to do things like that on board. We spoke to a few people who picked this ship just for that and they were closed the entire week. And we finally got on the ropes course the last nice day of the week. The rest of the activites were fantastic, we were just a really upset they had a lot of things closed.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Amazing! We really enjoyed howl at the moon and burn the floor.

They were all more than helpful and very sweet!

Cabin / Stateroom

It was nice, just a little bit small. But you get what you pay for and that is the room we chose

We sailed on the Breakaway in January the 6th to be exact on an eleven day. It was amazing. It was after the Holidays and it was back to school so the ship didn't seem over crowded and not a lot of kids or teenagers. Not that I'm against kids because I have 2 Adult kids and 7 grandkids and I needed the break!! Hope this helped if planning another cruise!!πŸ›³πŸ›³πŸ‘πŸ‘

Sorry about the on board activities. Other than that sounds like it was good
